Is there really such a thing as “balance?” Especially when weighing the importance of one’s discipline against their creativity?

This particular battle could also be characterized as “the head vs the heart.” Usually, a person working their recovery has a preference for one versus the other. They’ll lean either towards a mind/logic/disciplined approach or fall back upon a heart/feeling/creative one.

So, what’s wrong with that?

Should we be “more balanced” or is whichever is in the lead, head or heart, stay that way and keep the course?
