Wonderfully said Randal 🙏😊 I love that you are using the word “communion” with your clients. I never thought of it in the light of the addiction, but it is something so sacred to me (although I am not Catholic) and represents the intimate relationship with god, the Universe, the higher self... and I believe that we addicts were searching for that thing our whole life, it was just directed to a wrong object of communion, a wrong spirit .. ❤️

Well said, Randy. In recovery I looked for values of my own to try to live by. I wanted to stand for something integral, but I didn't know what.

After a few guides and much searching, I made a list of seven words~mnemonics to remind me of who I am when I feel confused. And one of those words is communion.
